Art with an attitude

In their studio, Ramona and Bruno Kristo create objects that have the power to stand out in their surroundings while harmoniously completing the space, as if they have always been an integral part of it.

The creative duo's work is at the intersection of art, design and craftsmanship and is therefore placed under three labels: Kristo & Kristo, Compagnie de Raffinage and Deux Fers.

"In our three labels, we very often work with brass and bronze which we also patina ourselves with our own prepared stable chemicals," opines Bruno Kristo. "The bronze rods we use are usually melted for casting."

A photo collage featuring the bronze and brass decorative elements made in collaboration with Dejond. Thus, we see an element at the end of a banister and a bronze book-end.
