Easycombi plant boxes
Modular. Lightweight. Customised.
Put together your own aluminium planter with Easycombi: a modular system consisting of separate parts that you can assemble quickly, easily and flexibly on site. Ideal for (green) roofs, roof terraces and projects where accessibility, timing and cost efficiency are crucial.
What is Easycombi?
At Dejond Metals, we have developed Easycombi, a planter that can be fully tailored to your requirements. Instead of a fully welded planter, you receive a “construction kit” with all the different parts you need to assemble the planter. With one-metre-long pieces and variable corners from 250 to 500mm, you can decide for yourself how big you want the planter to be. The possibilities and advantages are endless.
Why Easycombi?
No crane required
A welded planter or plant box can only be moved with heavy equipment, often at the very last moment of the construction process. This means extra crane costs, complex planning and time pressure.
With Easycombi, it's different: all components, panels, corners and fastenings are delivered separately and are light enough to be carried upstairs or in a lift.
Less stress in planning
With traditional welded planters, you have to follow a tight schedule: the box must be placed on the roof before the crane leaves. With Easycombi, that moment shifts entirely to your pace. The parts can be stored safely until the site is ready.
More sustainable & cost-efficient
Because the planters are modular, they do not need to be welded, painted and transported in one piece. That reduces the number of transport movements and processing steps in production.
Easy maintenance
When a welded planter is damaged, the entire structure has to be thrown away. A single dent or spot of corrosion is enough to necessitate replacement of the entire unit. With Easycombi, you only replace the affected part. Quick, inexpensive and without unnecessary waste.
Flexible format
Every space has different requirements: a straight line along a façade, a square module on a terrace, or a combination around a tree. With side panels of 200, 500 or 1000 mm and corner elements in various sizes, you can build exactly what you need. And if you want to expand later? You can easily do so by adding extra modules.

How does it work?
You can easily put together your own Easycombi planter in 3 steps:
1. Choose your dimensions
Combine side panels and corner elements to determine the footprint.
2. Choose your colour and finish
Select one of our RAL colours (9005 or 9010) and your preferred finish (Matte, Satin, or Textured). Other RAL colours available on request.
3. Assemble on site
Screw connections ensure smooth, stable assembly without special tools.
4. Plant and finish
Add root cloth, substrate and plants. Optional edging and drainage solutions available.

Logistical advantages
Compact delivery
A fully welded planter quickly takes up a lot of space on site and in transport.
Easycombi, on the other hand, is delivered as a cleverly packaged construction kit, with all components clearly packed per set: side panels, corners, fastening materials.
This means less transport volume, less chance of damage and much easier handling.
Accessible
Whereas a welded planter can only be lifted using a crane or forklift, Easycombi fits easily into a standard passenger lift or can be carried up the stairs. Even in hard-to-reach places such as roof terraces, you can effortlessly put the parts in place.
More possibilities
Because Easycombi consists of separate components, the system opens up opportunities that are not possible with traditional planters. You can create shapes around obstacles such as trees, poles, columns or roof penetrations. Assembly takes place on site, so minor adjustments to shape or size are no problem at all.
Sustainability
Less transport
A classic welded planter often travels back and forth several times between the welding department, coater, storage and site. That means a lot of transport, packaging and lifting – all of which generate extra CO₂ emissions. With Easycombi, things are done differently: the planters are produced and delivered in separate components, which greatly reduces the volume of transport.
Extended service life
Whereas a welded planter forms a single unit, Easycombi is made up of separate, replaceable parts. If one panel is damaged – due to impact or wear and tear – you don't have to replace the entire planter. You simply order the relevant part and reassemble it.
Easy expansion
Because an Easycombi planter is made up of different pieces, you can easily expand it without having to purchase a completely new planter. Even for temporary installations, the planter can be easily dismantled and reassembled at another location.
