Folding or Bending

At Dejond, we fold or bend all your aluminium, stainless steel, copper, and brass to size. We also fold intricate shapes and large radii.
During free bending or air bending, the material is bent using an upper stamp and a lower die.

• Up to a maximum length of 4m
• Up to a maximum thickness of 6mm for aluminium
• Maximum 135-ton press force

Characteristics of folding or bending work

• The material can form freely
• The contact between the product material and the tool consists of 3 parallel lines of contact
• We refer to it as cold deformation

Standard Tolerances

• Angle: ± 1°
• Dimensions: ± 1mm
• Narrower tolerances are possible upon request.
